FLOOR INSULATION

Floor insulation can reduce the heat lost from your home through the floor by between 10% and 20%. All floors above an unheated space should be considered for floor insulation, generally this will be the ground floor of your property but could also be the floor of a room above an unheated garage for example.

All types of floors can be insulated with different methods including solid concrete floors and suspended timber floors.

Are you planning to change your floor coverings, carpets or wood floors? This is an ideal time to include floor insulation, why not go the extra step and consider underfloor heating for added benefits. We can plan, design and install all this for you as part of a single project.

  • A certain level of disruption may be caused during installation due to internal work
